Privacy Policy

Ardeco (PT Ardeco Karya Global) wants you to feel confident about your privacy when you visit ardeco.co.id, fill out a consultation form, or reach out to us by email or WhatsApp. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, how we use it, and what rights you have over that data, in line with Indonesia’s Personal Data Protection Law (UU PDP, Law No. 27 of 2022).

By using this site or sending us your data — for example through a contact form, live chat, or WhatsApp Business — you’re agreeing to how we collect and use information as described here. We may update this policy from time to time; the latest update date will always be shown at the bottom of the page. This Privacy Policy applies to everyone who visits our site or works with us, no matter where you’re based, including clients outside Indonesia.

1. Information We Collect

We collect information in three ways:

  • Data you give us directly.

Your name, phone number/WhatsApp, email, company or F&B business name, project location, and details about your renovation or fit-out needs, whenever you fill out a consultation form, message us on WhatsApp, or send an email.

  • Data collected automatically.

Things like your IP address, device and browser type, the pages you visit, where you came from (like an ad or a Google search), and how you interact with our site. We track this through cookies and analytics tools managed via Google Tag Manager (GTM), including Google Analytics 4 (GA4).

  • Data from other platforms.

If you contact us through an ad platform (for example, a lead form on Instagram or Facebook Ads), we may receive the contact details you submitted there, based on the permission you gave that platform.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your data to:

  • Answer your questions and put together a quotation or proposal for your renovation/fit-out project.
  • Keep you updated on your consultation, schedule site surveys, or share progress on an ongoing project.
  • Send you information, promotions, or content about Ardeco’s services, until you tell us you’d like us to stop.
  • Understand how our site and ad campaigns are performing, so we know what content or services people need most.
  • Meet legal requirements, like tax reporting or responding to an official request from an authority.

We never sell your personal data to anyone. Depending on the purpose, we rely on one of these legal grounds under the UU PDP: your consent (for example, when you submit a consultation form); the need to fulfill a contract or take steps you’ve requested (like preparing a quotation); a legal obligation we have to follow (like tax reporting); or our legitimate business interest — for example, keeping you informed about our services until you ask us to stop — balanced against your rights.

3. Sharing Information with Third Parties

We only share your data when:

  • We need to, to carry out your project — for example, with material suppliers or on-site contractors, and only the details relevant to that work.
  • We use technology providers that help run our site and communications — like hosting, WhatsApp Business, or analytics tools — who are required to keep your data confidential.
  • The law requires it, or we need to protect Ardeco’s or someone else’s rights, safety, or property.

4. International Data Transfers

Ardeco is based in Indonesia, and we mainly process and store your data here, following the UU PDP. That said, some of the tools we use to run our site and talk to you — like Google Tag Manager, Google Analytics 4, and WhatsApp Business (run by Meta) — may store or process data on servers outside Indonesia, including in Singapore, the United States, or other countries. When we send your data outside Indonesia, we make sure at least one of these safeguards is in place: the destination country has data protection standards as strong as Indonesia’s; there’s a contract or corporate policy binding the receiving party to protect your data (like the standard terms offered by providers such as Google or Meta); or you’ve given your clear consent to the transfer. If you’re based outside Indonesia — say, in Singapore or China — a couple of things to know: your data is still handled by Ardeco in Indonesia and mainly governed by the UU PDP, since that’s our home country’s law; and depending on where you are and how you found us (for example, if you responded to an ad targeted at your country), your own country’s privacy law — like Singapore’s Personal Data Protection Act (PDPA) or China’s Personal Information Protection Law (PIPL) — may also apply. If you’re not sure which law applies to you, just reach out using the contact details in Section 10.

5. Cookies and Tracking Technologies

Our site uses cookies and similar technology to remember your preferences, measure traffic, and show you more relevant ads. We manage this through Google Tag Manager (GTM), which runs Google Analytics 4 (GA4) to understand things like which pages get visited, how long people stay, and where visitors come from. You can manage or turn off cookies in your browser settings, though turning some off may affect parts of the site, like the consultation form or live chat. If you’d like to opt out of Google Analytics specifically, you can install Google’s Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on.

6. Data Security and Retention

We take reasonable technical and organizational steps to protect your data from unauthorized access, changes, or leaks. We keep your personal data only as long as we need it for the purpose we collected it — for example, during your consultation and the after-sales period of your project — or as long as the law requires, after which we delete or anonymize it. As a general rule: we keep consultation/lead data for up to 12 months from your last interaction with us if no project moves forward, and project data for the length of the project plus the warranty period, unless Indonesian tax law or other regulations require us to keep it longer. If a data breach happens that could put your rights at risk, we’ll notify Indonesia’s data protection authority and anyone affected, following the timeframe and process required under the UU PDP.

7. Your Rights Over Your Personal Data

Under the UU PDP, you have the right to:

  • Ask for access to, and a copy of, the personal data we hold about you.
  • Ask us to correct data that’s inaccurate or out of date.
  • Ask us to delete your personal data, as long as that doesn’t conflict with a legal obligation we have.
  • Withdraw your consent, or unsubscribe from marketing messages, at any time.
  • Object to how we process certain data, if you think it’s not appropriate.

8. Links to Third-Party Sites

Our site may contain links to third-party sites, such as social media or business partners. Ardeco isn’t responsible for the privacy practices or content of those sites, so we recommend reading the privacy policy of each site you visit.

9. Changes to This Privacy Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our services or the law. We’ll announce significant changes on this site, along with the last update date.
